Recycling. A subject close to my heart.
When you purchase a new piece of furniture no matter how nice it is, the second it arrives in your home it starts to lose value. Then when you move, redecorate, down size as life continually changes, its always a real pain to try to figure out how to sell your pieces, even if they are in perfect shape. Whatever doesn’t get sold, or donated, ends up in landfills.
When Chairish contacted me to design a style board around a chair I was thrilled to be introduced to their site. It’s a popular easy to use site where you can buy or sell used pieces in perfect condition. I was so excited to discover them that I designed a bunch of our Jill Sorensen Lifestyle bedrooms design ideas with all vintage pieces.
The first one is The Kelly Suite, a mid century room in lavender and kelly green.
