It’s so inspiring to see the great style the Jill Sorensen Lifestyle customers have. If you followed the One Room Challenge you might already have seen this Palm Beach Regency nursery designed by Andrea of the blog The Glam Pad, but I just have to post it here. How fun is this? Black Key bedding in a banana leaf bedroom = perfection
How fun it was to open up Domino Magazine’s e-mail only to find our Black Key shams in a hip bedroom designed by one of the Homepolish designers. Two of my favorite things in one room. The Martinique banana leaf wallpaper mixed with Black Key bedding! How cool is this? Share This:
How exciting!! My bedding on ELLEN TV!
Now this is fun! I looove Ellen de Generes, and now I love her even more after catching my bedding in one of the Houzz makeovers on Ellen TV. People with bedrooms in dire need of a makeover could e-mail in to the show and Houzz would send a designer to make it over. I’mREAD MORE How exciting!! My bedding on ELLEN TV! →
Bedroom Design Idea – Boho Glam!
Here is a bedroom design idea to steal for your space.
Mix antelope print, Kelly Green bedding, gold accents and faux sheepskin, hang a rattan chair, snake skin wallpaper in the bathroom and you have the perfect recipe for an on trend look, yet one that is unique and unusual enough to show you march to your own drums.
Keep it all animal neutral except add to the mix in one or two strong colors to spice up the relaxed look. Personally I’m pretty obsessed with Kelly Green mixed with tans, black and gold!READ MORE Bedroom Design Idea – Boho Glam! →

Getting ready for the Westedge Design Fair
Hope you had a good weekend!
This week we’re participating in the Westedge Design fair, a big design event here in LA that takes place at the Santa Monica Airport hangar. If you are in Los Angeles Thursday through Sunday this week come on by! You can e-mail Mehreen at [email protected] and she’ll send you a link to get free tickets. Would love to meet you!
I have never designed a booth and a pop up store, so hoping it will turn out okay! Honestly a bit nervous about it. This event is filled with sleek, cool, modern brands, so I was a little worried how all our color would be received, but decided instead of toning it down, go all the way.
We figured it hopefully will put a smile on someones face. Decorating after all should not be a serious affair, it should be fun!READ MORE Getting ready for the Westedge Design Fair →
Poolside!
I realize most of you are starting to sense a crisp fall breeze in the air, but here in LA we’re experiencing the biggest heat weave perhaps on record. (Oh how I miss fall!)
So the thoughts of that cozy fall sweater and fireplace has been swapped out to thoughts on of swimming pools. I’ve bid on a house, but no news yet. However…that doesn’t stop me from playing around with ideas for improving that retro pool area the house has.READ MORE Poolside! →
