Do you love or hate Instagram? When life gets super busy, parenting, working, meetings, doctors appointments, sports games, graduations, staying fit, whatever it is that makes life so stressful when you’re a “grown up” — it’s so easy to just sprint through your days, and not take in what’s around you. You just go, go It's just that perfect Instagram moment!
Moving to LA was one of the most difficult decisions I ever made. I had to take Luke out of school, turn down tons of work, sell our house and things, and start a brand new life on the other side of the country. It was a gamble. After 6 months…would we love it or would we hate it?
I can safely say it’s the best adult decision I ever made! If you are sitting somewhere reading this and feeling unhappy about your life and where you are living, don’t be afraid to make a change. Moving and starting over has inspired me to be completely true to myself, as a human being, a mom, and with the direction of my business. I didn’t want to make the huge change of moving and then not commit all the way in all areas of my life. So still working hard on creating just the life I want. I have a gratitude app on my Iphone ( highly recommend it) and first on my list most days is definitely our sweet new life here. It has such beautiful simplicity.

I know all of you on the east coast is beng pummeled by snow and rain, and all you European readers have cold, dark days right now.
So I thought you might enjoy some of the amazing sunsets we enjoy here in Cali every night. We live 20 blocks from the beach in Santa Monica. And if there is ever a day I’ve been sitting in the office too long, or feeling a lack of gratitude, I jump on my bike and go down to the beach. There is never a time it doesn’t leave me in awe of how amazingly beautiful the world is. And seeing the majestic view makes me feel grateful over the simple things.

Where does time go? Our life is finally getting organized here in LA. My office is almost set up, all business licenses and bank account transfers are soon completed, Luke is settled and very happy in his new school and our house in Virginia has sold. 2 1 /2 months have already slipped by in Inside my Week – life in LA
