Hello Sweden – it’s so good to see you!
This past month has been a crazy time for my family in Sweden. My father has been in and out of the hospital, my brother had a ski accident and ended up in the same hospital as my father. Then suddenly my uncle passed away and a week later my mother and niece were in Hello Sweden – it’s so good to see you!

While we are sad to be missing the July 4th celebrations over in the states, it’s hard to suffer with this view from the bedroom…. Pretty magical. The renovations are getting a break this week while we’re making a quick holiday visit to Sweden. I’m so grateful to be able to come here. Our new life in LA had us seriously dreaming of a white Christmas.

A DRASTIC BEFORE/AFTER – MY BEDROOM
When we bought our summer house in Sweden the interiors were drastically different than they are today. Ugly plastic flooring covered most of the wood floors, and all the original windows had been replaced with modern windows not suitable for a house from the 1800’s.
In some rooms the windows had even been boarded shut. In short – depressing. Such was the case with our master bedroom.
