When life gets super busy, parenting, working, meetings, doctors appointments, sports games, graduations, staying fit, whatever it is that makes life so stressful when you’re a “grown up” — it’s so easy to just sprint through your days, and not take in what’s around you. You just go, go It's just that perfect Instagram moment!
House hunting. Have you done it?
You heard me talk about all the amazing new lifestyle changes that came with moving to this beautiful state. What I haven’t shared much of is our frustrating hunt. When we made the decision to move here the real estate market was in a slump and there were tons of fixers just waiting to be redone. Unfortunately the month we started house hunting the market went on an extreme upswing and before I even saw a property a home would have 5-10 bids from developers making the prices sky rocket. Disappointing to say the very least.
You would think it would be easy to find an ugly duckling to fix. So fast forward six months – we’re still in our rental. But with slim pickings, crazy prices, old school charm and ocean view – is hard to come by. But I’m not giving up!

I hope you all stayed safe during the hurricane. This summer is going out with a bang I think it’s pretty safe to say! An earthquake and a monster hurricane within one week. I’m lucky to say we could not have planned our end of summer vacation any better…The last two weeks I’ve been vacationing OH NO…it's already the end of summer!
