I’m going to be honest.
I’ve seriously been thinking all week that I’ll be the first one not to complete a room for the One Room Challenge. We have wood floors in our house and that’s about it. The dining room area by the kitchen will definitely not be done, and for the actual kitchen we are still waiting for three big components. Yikes.
Thankfully one of them arrived today…
The pendants for the kitchen island.
Hoping they will look right!
The second thing is the hood that needs to be customized.
We got a hood insert this week that we are figuring out how to build a shell for.
Javier had someone build a metal shell in two pieces that we are going to powder coat.
Not really sure how it’s going to work, or how it’s going to look.
But we’ll see soon enough!
The last thing we are waiting for is my fabric so we can reupholster the bar stools. We had to order it without even viewing a sample, but the arrival date is cutting it so close.
I’m really stressing about that one.
I’m coming out with a a few self adhesive and grass cloth wallpapers very soon but sadly the dining room wall that is to be wallpapered in the yellow bamboo print won’t be done in time to be included.
Can’t wait to hang them everywhere in this house!
