Deadlines are coming up.
This week I have to order tile for all the bathrooms, kitchen and laundry room.
Luke’s shower will get a simple white subway tile, the master shower might get marble tiles from Home Depot, but for all the tile floors, laundry room and the guest bath I’m going for some fun tiles. Strangely all the tile I’ve been falling for comes from three companies Marrakesh Design, Mexican Cement tile and Popham design. They all make interesting unusual patterns and not the stuff you feel like you see everywhere.
Their tile also suits the style I’m looking for. Our house is kind of a mix of a California ranch house that is Spanish and 60’s mid century retro all at once.
If you have any great tile company suggestions for this, please leave them in the comment section!
Pretty much all the framing is up everywhere. Here is a new window in the master bathroom where the tub will go. I’m planning on planting something tropical outside the window and create stair up the hill to a herb garden. Right now it looks out on the only palm tree on the property a tiny baby palm!
My favorite company is Marrakesh Design, sounds Moroccan but they are actually a Swedish company. Their tile has that mid century retro Scandinavian sensibility with a twist. I’m hooked.
Their Goose -Eye tile will make it’s way to Luke’s bathroom floor.
However seeing the pretty colors it comes in I’m tempted to add it in a different way in another color for the guest bath.
Then I’m also pretty obsessed with the Dandelion tile they have.
It just has to go somewhere in this colorway!
Then again look at all these addictive colorways…
Do you have a favorite?
It’s just so chic!
The laundry room is the pass through to the guest formerly maid’s room. It has linoleum squares.
I’m thinking about painting them, which I’ve seen done successfully. Have you ever tried that?
But then again, this tile would really help it feel cool and elegant.
That Swedish company just gets it!
From another one of my favorites Mexican Cement Tile…
The Tulum tile, how nice is this?
So beautiful, perhaps this is the laundry room…hmmmm decisions decisions…
I love Black & White tile perhaps more than anything.
This look will go in Luke’s bath clean, chic and simple.
I like the dark grout look with the white. I love black bands of tile in it.
From Popham Design, there is much to love, but I’m feeling this look below.
The Ikat zig zag.
It comes in a bunch of colors.
Love the turquoise, gray…
And this version makes me happy.
The color of the sky outside.
Any faves above?
And seriously am I crazy or does LA look like South of France or Italy?
Hope you’re having a great week and have recovered from the holiday.
P.S. Follow me on [email protected] share stuff daily there.

Do you mean personal shopper or mystery shopper? Personal shoppers are usually employed by department stores – you move your way up from the shop floor to become a personal shopper.
Or if you have experience working as a stylist, for a fashion magazine or as fashion designer, you can advertise your services independently and hope people will pay you to take them shopping and help them pick out what looks best on them.
Very nice article!! Thank you so much for sharing!!
Actually, online shopping has lot of advantages like Saving money. Due to the fact that online stores i.e citizen watches store do not need to pay for the rent of full-fledged premises, as well as hire a large number of consultants and cashiers, the goods are sold much cheaper. Wide range of. Even if the store does not have the right thing for you right now, its employees will be able to order it specifically for you. Customer Reviews.
