The main reason I started Live Like You was to inspire people to decorate their homes in a way that truly reflected themselves. I saw too many depressing, non nondescript, lifeless interiors without imagination that made me depressed. Often with people living in them having NO I clue how negatively it impacted their lives. Yes it’s true, it affects you more than you think! I’m curious…do you agree, or disagree?
Creating a home that truly reflects you is of course not always going to be popular. It’s a space you that is there to make only YOU happy. It’s not there to impress your guests or look like a museum. Whatever it is that makes YOU happy is fine with me, as long as you do SOMETHING!
This home done by a Swedish stylist/designer for her family on the ocean in Southern Sweden is definitely a fearless home.
A blank white canvas with lots of imagination and playing with scale.
A serious mixture of items to love.
Home made chandelier. (It looks like personal notes?)
A place for the soul?
Re purposed antiques.
Love the yellow pants!
Expressive art.
Just cool.
I hope this post inspires you to look around your home and see what you can do to make it personal and a place you love.
I’ve said it a million times, changing your home is not about money, it’s about imagination and effort.
And seriously life is simply too short not to.
Love this home!!
I am speechless. What an amazing home! I am seriously inspired! Beth http://www.chicandglamorous.com
Now, this is a beautiful home!! Thanks for sharing this. I personally think you can never go wrong with a blank canvas of white and then add the depth with color. As you evolve and change you can always change the color part.
