Happy New Year! Hope you had a great holiday. I love when a new year starts and you get a clean slate and can fix what you didn’t accomplish or do right in the last year. Our home will definitely get done in 2016. Here are a a few Before/After pictures of the exterior thatREAD MORE BEFORE/AFTERS of our house exterior →
Final Laundry room Before/After (with sources)
The laundry room pendant arrived this week after being back ordered for months and I finally have one fully completed room. I know I’ve shared this room earlier, but I have included the new fixture (which I love) and all sources. The pretty but simple pendant just completed this already happy room. House updates & chair makeovers
Here are a few house updates that happened this week. Instead of selling some chairs I decided to do some quick makeovers. My new front door color
One thing I’ve learned if you can’t pick the color from the samples you’ve painted it’s because they are not right. I ended up selecting Bermuda Blue by Benjamin Moore and could not be more pleased! The microwave arrived today, however 1/4 inch too wide for the cabinet. And…the rest of the house is still an empty dust pit. ButREAD MORE One Room Challenge # 6 – The Reveal →
Our laundry room inspired by the Beverly Hill hotel
My approach to designing this house is very different from what I’ve ever done before. I’m taking it painfully slow with one small step a time and really thinking how and what I want to surround myself with. On top of that this house is a very particular space that has to be lived inREAD MORE Our laundry room inspired by the Beverly Hill hotel →
One Room Challenge # 5
I’m going to be honest. I’ve seriously been thinking all week that I’ll be the first one not to complete a room for the One Room Challenge. We have wood floors in our house and that’s about it. The dining room area by the kitchen will definitely not be done, and for the actual kitchenREAD MORE One Room Challenge # 5 →
One Room Challenge Week # 4
Two weeks left before the One Room Challenge reveal and my kitchen looks like this….. Not exactly the perfect spot for morning coffee yet. I bet you are all happy you are not me. We all just moved in to this unfinished house, even the animals are confused. This is the way it looks atREAD MORE One Room Challenge Week # 4 →
