When a magazine shoot takes place at your house, particularly a national magazine shoot, you might think the place is just photographed just like it is. Well it’s not exactly so… It kind of feels like moving day…as items are switched out and moved around. Here is a little behind the scenes in the livingBehind the scenes!

The article in Svenska Dagbladet came out yesterday. I added the link here, but I know most of you won’t be able to read it. It talks about my belief that your home affects you deeply –ignoring your home is ignoring yourself. What you surround yourself with, will affect you daily. If your possessions you choose to surround yourself with indeed is “the outward manifestation of your innermost feelings” like Carl Jung said, then look around you. Does your home feel like you?
Photographer Staffan Lowstedt from Svenska Dagsbladet took some really colorful, fun pictures of our house, and I guess it feels fairly true to who I am and the place we are at right now in life.
We’ve lived through a lot lately. I want to be fearless, care free and happy, and I’m hoping my home can help!Does your home feel like you?

Thank You for all your kind comments and e-mails. This has been a rough week to say the least, and I hope the most difficult week Luke will ever experience in his lifetime. He handled the week like a brave young man even writing and giving his own beautiful (and funny) eulogy to his dad. Living in Color
