A little man cave nursery

Stylish girl/blogger Chassity from Look Linger Love is having what you could call a “nursery- moodboard- off” that I was happy to participate in.   My nursery was a little baby/man cave that I called “Chic Little Mountain Man”. Thought I would share….also hop over there and see all the great nursery designs.

My thoughts on nurseries have shifted since I was pregnant. When Luke was a born I made everything very “baby”. That’s not how I would approach it today. I think nurseries should leave room for kids to grow up in, and you shouldn’t be afraid to design whatever you like. Kids need spaces that let their imagination soar.

Here are some items I used….

Custom vintage HAPPY dresser.

Custom vintage 70’s cane chair.

Added some earthy vibe with a Driftwood chandelier.

Chess Lamp for playfulness. This is a personal favorite.

Yellow and gray textured wallpaper. (Forgot the source..bummer I love this)

Oakley mirror

Regency Crib

Brindle cowhide rug

Orange Moroccan Pouf

Animal heads from West Elm

Sheep skin pelt from Splendid Willow

Greek Key Pillow

What are you doing for the long weekend? Luke is off from school today so I’m playing hooky and we’re driving up to NYC. Tomorrow we’re continuing up to the beautiful Berkshires to visit one of his godmothers.

Hope you’re doing something fun!

  1. One stylish nursery! Thank you for including my sheep pelt. You are the best!

I am thinking that driftwood chandelier would work great in Ewa's entry. Let's chat early next week. I am having a modeling shoot on Tueday. Wish I could use you…

    Happy Sunday!
