I believe in a few things regarding nurseries….
1) The design is just as much for the mom
2) Minimalism is a no, no
3) Use things the baby can grow up with – hence no expensive redesign necessary in two years.

That Oyster Shell Mirror is perfect especially for a beach-themed home. That piece is exquisite and I. MUST. HAVE. IT.
The Oyster shell theme is something that I am hearing and seeing for the first time. Loving your nursery theme. You deviated from pink which is a breathe of fresh air. Will definitely follow your lead.
