What do you do when you have a big birthday coming up and you wish you were in Italy? If you happen to live in New York city….
….you go here…
…to Palma, an adorable little Italian restaurant in the Village…
…that on a hot day in New York looks like this….
…for someone’s birthday…(not mine)
As soon as you arrive you actually start feeling as cheerful and Italian as their ad….
…particularly after you see the lovely small courtyard with a long table….
…that filled with friends and an amazing Italian feast looks like this!
And with views in either direction that look like this…
…where you could let your eyes trail up the ivy covered wall to see a sliver of the New York sky…or was it?
Because with the pressing 90 degree heat and humidity…
…and several glasses of wine with family and friends….
…we really felt we were in Capri…or was it Sicily?
