Happy 2020! I was able to do some work on the Idaho cabin over the holidays. Paint, paint, paint seem to be the biggest game changer. From painting vintage finds, to saying good bye to excessive wood paneling, color is definitely fun and refreshing for the New Year. Here are a few progress snap shots…. I’ve started a little fun makeover of an Idaho cabin from the 1800’s. It belongs to my fiance and his family along with a few other rustic cabins. It’s incredibly charming and quaint but needs better space planning and several layers of coziness and color. The rooms are dark and need to be brightened as Vintage Hunting for an Idaho Cabin

This is the first in a two step indoor/outdoor office makeover that’s long overdue. To increase value on the home we turned the garage in to a guest house with an apartment on the second floor. Our LA house is in a Swedish magazine and I thought I would share it with you. Journalist and photographer Stephanie Bjelkstam came to LA a while back to take pictures and to write a story about the makeover. When we bought our Spanish ranch rambler in the hills above LA it had not been renovated since it was built in 1967. The house was a mysterious blend of mid century and Spanish and had 60’s wallpaper and old carpeting still intact.
