There were some hick ups this week… The black Platner chairs we had purchased that were going to be the main accent pieces in the library, turns out will not show up. The manufacturer had been mistaken about the inventory and there are no more chairs available until after our dead line. That changed the Week # 5 – Going all out
This week we had to paint. The house sits on a ledge high up a mountain side with the sun glaring in from three sides but with a steep hill behind the house. The bedroom I designed for Luke when we first moved in here was bland. He told me NO color, just white, please make it plain, maybe just a little gray. Our previous house in Virginia had so much color he needed me to tone things down for the LA house. It took him only a Intriguing inspiration for an unusual teen space

The home renovations here have been at a standstill for a few weeks due to various issues. It’s thankfully finally back on and the house is waiting for stucco. However after all this wait (two years all in all!) I can’t imagine what it will be like working in an office now with loads of Dreamy inspiration for my new office
In May we started the final part of our house renovations and it was to turn the garage in to a teen room/guest house as well as a big downstairs office for my company. It went wickedly fast at first. If I just went off to a short meeting I would return to a completely Our guest house renovation – almost there!
Every summer we come to our house here in Sweden and every time I fall in love with this place all over again. Homes are to be loved and lived in and I can’t think of a place that represents that more than this house. The house sits in a little village with only seven Pictures from our house in Sweden
