Honestly I’m completely stressed out at the moment. The bungalow is filled with packing boxes up to my ears. We move in one week from today to a house that does not even have floors yet! Hope you had a great Easter weekend! I was lucky enough to have been invited to Palm Springs for the weekend with a bunch of moms and teenage boys to stay at La Quinta Resort in Palm Springs. The hotel is a gigantic but incredibly charming golf resort built in the 1920’s surrounded by a My accidental visit to Greta Garbo's house
As you read this blog post you’ll realize I’m certifiably nuts. I’m moving in to a new home in 15 days that we’ve been gut renovating for three months. Or let me correct myself, we’re moving in to the one bedroom we can sleep in. The home doesn’t even have floors yet! Yet I’ve decided One Room Challenge – WEEK # 1

We’re going to move in to the guest room for the first couple of weeks until the floor goes down. The plan for that room is to be a Beverly Hills hotel inspired suite with my own twist, so it was painted coral. We're finally painting!
The renovations are going at full speed and we have only three weeks left to the move in date. I apologize for the intermittent blog posts, but sometimes things get overwhelming and I’m working late in to the night and the blog falls behind. Although I’m in full gear renovating a house here in town, my brain is already dreaming of a beach house. I absolutely adore this this earthy look with beams and natural woods mixed with modern cozy furnishings… White painted beams. Rugged and glam all at once. Rustic modern fireplace. A cozy TV nook What An addictive beach house look
When the renovations are going at lightning speed you often have to make really quick decisions. Luckily sometimes those decisions can be the best. The house didn’t have a space for an office for me, so I had been playing around with the idea of getting an office out of the house. But I was The most inspiring renovation idea yet – My office.
As the renovations have picked up speed, I need to make some design decisions! I’m going to try to remove myself from last on the list to top of the list for a change. Time has come to focus on interiors, something I’ve been putting off completely. Black and white has always been my favorite Design Obsession -The black and white kitchen
